Ah...the great Christmas tree debate.
Buying a live tree deprives us of carbon dioxide absorbing plant and encourages the green house effect. Regardless if they were carefully cultivated for that specific purpose, the herbicides and the like used for growing these trees devestates the surrounding plant life.
Buying an artificial tree allows for petroleum based products to be made through which the process to make them creates green house gases not to mention disposal of said tree will last forever in a landfill.
Funny how a symbol of "good will on Earth" can wreak so much havoc in the world today. [img]wink.gif[/img]
